Tarte’s Double Duty Beauty The Lip Sculptor Double Ended Lipstick & Glosses have been off my radar at $24 each but I will probably pick up a couple of shades (Rogue and Renegade) to try them out. The reviews on these have been pretty decent, with the biggest complaint being that the lipstick wore off quickly. Honestly, we’ve become so accustomed to long-lasting liquid lipsticks that we forget all the pounds of lipstick we used to eat year after year.
I’m almost embarrassed to say that I considered the supplements for a moment. I’m getting “up there” in age and even though these are astronomically expensive (even with the discount) the brand’s claims and the customer reviews made it tempting. What changed my mind? Well I looked a the actual ingredients of the Unilastin… it’s a bunch of B vitamins as well as some minerals. Basically all things you can take on your own, at a fraction of the cost.
And then there is Honest Beauty’s Magic Balm, a balm that claims to do just about everything. I’ll be passing because the last thing I need is another must-have item in my purse. My purse is dang heavy already!
What about you guys? Are you grabbing up these beauty steals?
